Zenji Nio and Avi Benlolo, CEO of the Friends of the Simon Wiesenthal Center at the inaugural Congress

After visiting the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem and Ann Frank's home in Amsterdam as well as attending several events by the Friends of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, Zenji had meetings with FSWC CEO Avi Benlolo and together they organized a major Congress of Faith and Community Leaders at the FSCW office in Toronto.

Zenji has also worked closely with other Jewish leaders over the years including Rabbi Shalom Schacter whose father Zalman Schacter Shalomi was one of the founders of the Jewish Renewal Movement. Zenji has also worked with senior leaders of the Center for Israel and Jewish Affairs and Canadian Jewish Congress on various projects -- and has lectured alongside Jewish social worker Avrum Rosensweig at a major Conference chaired by former Acting Prime Minister Paul Hellyer at the University of Toronto.  Furthermore, Zenji has had several meetings with victims of the Holocaust as well as diverse members of the Jewish community at large -- who have welcomed this unique initiative with tears of joy and open arms.
