The Genocide of First Nations peoples is of great concern to Buddhists as we empathize with the complete loss of their culture and the colonization of their heritage. We have worked with many of North America's leading influencers and representatives of the First Nations Peoples in order to give their voices a platform. We are also followed by one of the most important First Nations voices on Twitter and often share messages of solidarity.

Furthermore, when organizing the first Mutlifaith Commemoration of the Jewish Holocaust - we invited a leader of the First Nations peoples to inaugurate the event -- thus highlighting how fighting for the victims of genocide is a universal cause that transcends races, religions and national borders.
