The first multifaith commemoration of the holocaust

Interfaith Cooperation is best upheld when it addresses the ills of society including Antisemitism. That is why the Panam Buddhist Mission and Samurai Center teamed up with the Simon Wiesenthal Center to hold a National Conclave against antisemitism -- attended by faith leaders from across Canada. We also organized and led the first Multifaith Commemoration of the Holocaust -- involving faith leaders from Canada and across the world.

We have also worked with the RCMP Commander's Diversity Council, the Canadian Multifaith Federation, the North American Interfaith Network and Harmony in Action headed by the late Deputy Prime Minister Paul Hellyer to explore the best ways to foster constructive dialogue and cooperation between different religions and cultures.
